Scheme Objective :
To generate long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related instruments of entities engaged in and/or expected to benefit from the growth in housing theme. The fund would seek to offer a portfolio of businesses that have potential to benefit from the Housing Theme
The Fund Manager would aim to build a portfolio by identifying entities within the list of basic industries (as per AMFI classification from time to time) under Housing theme that may have potential for meaningful growth and which may have a sustainable competitive advantage.
The current market correction offers a good entry point for most of these businesses. Lower exposure to defensive sectors offers a better way to play economic recovery (based on current views & may subject to change.
